I believe that financial empowerment is the key to the city’s success in the future. That is one of the reasons why I am running for City Council. As you know, I served on the City Council for five years and I am the only candidate with more than 25 years of financial services industry experience. I believe that one of the best ways to increase public safety in Richmond is to develop and support a strong and vibrant business environment, which will produce jobs and create more fiscal independence for everyone. I am committed to investing my time and skills to make Richmond a better place to live, work and play.

I believe everyone in our City has value and something to offer to help us achieve our goals. I also believe that is important for people to feel like their opinion or point of view is heard. My leadership style is to include not exclude citizens to move the business of the City forward. I have the training and the tolerance to talk with and work with people I may not agree with. I know how important it is to respect opposing points of view, especially in a political environment.
